Healthy Habits Reset

Happy June, friends!

In my May newsletter, I alluded to a gut health and healthy habits reset that I was planning to start this month. It’s June 1st today, so let’s get going!

First, why am I doing this?

I’ve been feeling, physically, not my best. I’ve been through some very stressful events in the past few months and I could tell my body was not handling it well. Extreme bloating, digestive issues, skin breakouts, weight gain, brain fog, not sleeping well, hormone imbalances, relying on fast food/processed food, and overall bleh. Something had to change.

I have been a member of Young Living since 2021 and used just about every supplement and essential oil that they offer. These products are high quality and life changing! The Ningxia Red beverage is a staple in our home. When I saw the new Make a Shift reset bundle, I knew I had to incorporate it into my own reset.

Why do we love Ningxia so much? Oh, let me count the ways. I’ve been consuming goji berries since I became interested in natural health 15+ years ago. The main ingredient in Ningxia is wolfberry puree, a variety of goji berry, with even higher antioxidant capacity. Probiotics are important for balancing the bacteria in our gut and ensuring the good guys beat the bad guys. Even just 1 dose of antibiotics years ago can have lasting effects on our gut health today. Probiotics are best absorbed at night when our bodies are resting and renewing, so I take them at least 2 hours after dinner and just before bed.
